Oriental Chicken With Rice - Chinese Recipe

Oriental Chicken With Rice- Chinese Recipe

Numerous cultural handshakes take place in various ways. In essence, it is not just the world of international politics and economic agreements. World travelers, their widely read travel books, writers, and unfinished knowledge of human nature, personal growth, social harmony, and committed global community eminently participate in sharing work, lifestyle, and arts & crafts, which causes the expansion of international communications to soar to new heights.

Since the beginning of civilization, there has been evidence of food as a means of cultural exchange. Chinese cuisine is the most traditional and well-known. It comes as no surprise that Chinese street cuisine may be found everywhere from Waldorf, Mainland China Restaurant, to remote corners of the globe. With their well-known song “Chicken Noodles Soup,” the K-pop group “BTS” topped the Billboard charts. There are no longer any Chinese terms for DimSum or Momos, Chicken Bamboo Rice, Chicken Steamboat, Har Sao Pao, Hokka Prawn Noodles, or Bee Hoon. They are traditional Asian food options that appeal to Europeans, Middle Easterners, Eurasians, and Americans who wish to experience flavors from cultures other than their own. Regardless of demographic differences, everyone may create this delicious and simple meal in their own kitchen, especially if they want to impress their significant others and children.

This tart dish will rival any dinner from a Chinese restaurant in terms of quality.

Serves 4-6;  Prep 10 mins, plus marinating; Cooking 20 mins

Hoisin sauce: 2 tablespoons
Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
Sunflower oil: 2 tablespoons
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts: 4 (625g)
Long grain white rice: 200g
Broccoli: 200g ( cut into florets and stems sliced )
Frozen green peas: 125g
Red pepper or carrot cut into thin strips, to garnish

How to do it:

  • In a shallow dish, combine the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and oil. Add the chicken after. Make sure the chicken is covered with sauce as you spoon it over. Take a 15-minute break.
  • Rice should be added after boiling water is filled halfway up a saucepan. For six minutes, cook. For a further 4 minutes, add the broccoli and peas to the pan.
  • The chicken breasts should be grilled for 10 minutes, flipping them once or twice, until they are well-browned.
  • Chicken should be cut into thick slices. If there are any pink juices, broil the chicken for 3–4 minutes.
  • Pour the rice onto serving plates after draining.
  • Rice should be drained before being placed on serving dishes with chicken slices on top. Slices of carrot or red pepper can be used as a garnish.

“Chicken slices marinated in a flavorful sauce are cooked with broccoli and carrots in a quick, simple, and delicious Chinese stir fry. To finish the dish, serve it over a bed of rice or noodles.”
