How To Make Pina Colada (Healthy Mocktail Drink)

If at all you wanted was an icy, creamy, coconutty, sweet, cold drink, PINA COLADA is the stalwart among mocktails. I’m very excited to demonstrate how quick and simple it is to make! The unimaginably seamless effort required to prepare it and even a natural coolant make it a gracious drink to chill on a hot afternoon.

What is a Pina Colada?

It’s a pineapple-coconut frosty drink!

Is it a mocktail or cocktail? Not a cocktail. Can a pina colada be referred to as a pina colada mocktail on occasion? A mocktail is a beverage that lacks the type of alcohol that the recipe ordinarily calls for. This dish doesn’t contain any alcohol, making it ideal to serve to children, families, groups of friends, and expectant mothers.

To make this mocktail pina colada, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Pineapple: Pineapple is unquestionably the star ingredient in this mocktail pina colada. It’s what makes this dish so tasty and creamy; it almost tastes like a smoothie!
  • Lime: Freshly squeezed lime juice usually tastes best in a mocktail.
  • You can either make your coconut milk at home or buy a ready-made package. Yet the flavor of freshly made coconut milk is better.
  • Ice: Serve the pina colada mocktail right away. When serving, you can add some mint leaves or pineapple cubes as garnishes or, if you want it cooler, some ice cubes.

How to prepare a pina colada

1. The pineapple must first be peeled and cut into slices.

2. I got exactly 2 cups of chopped pineapple slices from using half of a medium pineapple. Then fill the blender jar with the slices or cubes.

3. Include sugar. If you choose, you can omit the sugar as well.

4. Make it a purée until it is smooth. Ensure the purée shouldn’t contain any bits of pineapple.

5. Add 200 ml, of thick coconut milk. You can also use coconut cream, but you’ll need to dilute the drink with water or coconut water first.

6. Add lime juice for greater flavor.

7. Include 4–6 ice cubes.

8. Continue blending until the mixture is uniform and smooth.

9. Serve the pina colada right away by pouring it as a blended beverage into glasses.

10. Crown the mugs or glasses with well-sliced lemon if preferred

If you like, you can add pineapple slices as a garnish.
